UMA Rugby Wolfpack Club

Head Girls Coach-  Reannon King

Reannon King is a PE teacher at Utah Military Academy and the Head Coach and Owner of Wolfpack Rugby Club. She began the Wolfpack program this year with the help of some former teammates – Jamin Smith and Tabitha Jones – from Utah State University, and later recruited James Taylor (the basketball coach for UMA) and Tina Tela (former teammate the Salt Lake Viper’s team) to her coaching staff. Coach King played a wide variety of sports from the age of 4 till her senior year of high school, including soccer, volleyball, softball, lacrosse and water polo. While attending Utah State University, Coach King joined the school’s rugby team and never looked back. Since then, she has played for the Pacific Coast All-Star team and the Division 1 Women’s Viper’s Club Team that is based in Salt Lake. She has played every position on the field in either 7’s or 15’s except for Wing and loved every minute of it.
Coach King has experience being a Player-Coach for the USU Women’s Rugby Team, an Assistant Coach for USU Women’s Lacrosse, and the JV Girl’s Lacrosse Coach for Corner Canyon High School. When she’s not busy at practices or games, Coach King enjoys playing volleyball, soccer and rugby with friends, reading, hiking, canyoneering, camping and rock climbing.
If you are interested in knowing more about rugby, come out and play! No experience is required and Coach King is always ready to introduce someone to her favorite sport – just contact her at
